Torres Wins BCL Honor Monday, September 21st, 2015 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Miguel Torres was rewarded with the Blake Camden League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Astoria Argonauts right fielder hit .393 while collecting 11 hits in 28 at-bats, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. So far on the season Torres is hitting .314 with 28 home runs, 71 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 92 hits and played in 79 games. |
