Bombers Woods Suffers Setback Saturday, September 12th, 2015 Bronx received another blow today when doctors revealed that Bombers shortstop Mike Woods had suffered a setback in his recovery and will miss additional time because of a knee sprain. Woods has been nearing his projected return date, but now that will be pushed back 4 days. Woods is hitting .227 this year with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 22 hits in 97 at-bats, 7 walks and a .283 on-base percentage. Woods has played in 26 games. |
