Bruce Fox Hurt, Out 4-5 Months Thursday, August 20th, 2015 Bruce Fox at first refused to leave today's Durham-St. John game after he suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty St. John starting pitcher said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Fox out of action for 4-5 months. To this point in the season Fox has 2 wins and 2 losses and a 6.00 ERA. |
