Mustangs Chill Bautista's Hot Streak Friday, August 7th, 2015 Alejandro Bautista, designated hitter for the Detroit Death Stars, gave it a good try, but his day in history finally came to an end, when he went hitless in 4 tries against the Billings Mustangs. Not only had they stopped his 20-game hitting streak, they had beaten Detroit 5-3, too. Speaking with the media after the game, Bautista said, "Now that the streak has ended, I admit I will breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat. It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Bautista is hitting .310 in 2015 with 17 RBIs and 6 home runs. |
