Today at Albuquerque Sports Stadium the Acapulco right fielder really burned Albuquerque pitching, going 5-for-6 in the Banditos 23-11 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Ben Terry hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Harry Monroe in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year Terry has socked 38 hits in 132 at-bats for a .288 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .321 pace and his totals also include 30 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
