Reno Stops Sutton's Hit Streak Saturday, May 16th, 2015 The Reno Raiders did something to Charlie Sutton no team had done for the last 27 games -- they held him hitless and stopped his consecutive-game hitting streak. But they didn't stop the Aeropostales. Indian Wells came away with a 1-0 victory at House of Pain. Commenting on the demise of the streak, the 21-year-old left fielder told BNN, "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever, but it was a good ride while it lasted." Sutton on the season is batting .359 with 4 home runs. His totals include 29 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has played in 34 games. |
