Banditos Jeff Lewis Sidelined Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 The Acapulco Banditos announced this afternoon that closer Jeff Lewis would be out of action for 9 months. He sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow playing the Smugglers. It happened throwing a pitch. This season Lewis has earned 5 saves, made 62 relief appearances, fanned 71 hitters in 67.1 innings and posted an ERA of 6.01 and a 2-7 record. |
