Garrett Hit String Snapped at 20 Tuesday, August 12th, 2014 Indian Wells brought Alec Garrett's hitting spree to a screeching halt today in its 8-3 victory over Birmingham at Bobcats Field. The Aeropostales mound staff snapped the 24-year-old second baseman's hitting streak at 20 games. Garrett failed to get a hit in 1 at-bat to end it. Currently Garrett is batting .272 with 6 home runs and 47 RBIs. |
