Cacti Lose Cunningham for 4 Months Monday, July 28th, 2014 Albuquerque Cacti starting pitcher Alfonso Cunningham left yesterday's game against the Birmingham Bobcats after suffering a bone spur in his elbow throwing a pitch. Cunningham was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Cunningham is expected to miss 4 months. On his stats sheet this season Cunningham shows a 9-7 record, 22 starts, 140 innings, 121 strikeouts and a 4.05 ERA. |
