Detroit's Miller BCL's Best
Monday, August 26th, 2013
At the age of 28, Andy Miller might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Detroit third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .464 batting average. For his efforts Miller collected the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 13 hits in 28 at-bats, 6 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 7 games.
This year Miller is hitting .305 with 71 hits, 12 home runs, 53 RBIs and has scored 44 runs.
