Cooper Bags KSL Best Player Award
Monday, August 12th, 2013
At the age of 29, Ken Cooper might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Coronado right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .609 batting average. For his efforts Cooper collected the Kade Stenson League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 14 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs last week in 6 games.
This year Cooper is batting .369 with 111 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 49 times and has batted in 37 runs.
