BCL Star of the Week Named Monday, June 3rd, 2013 Luis Castro burst onto the Blake Camden League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie left fielder for Philadelphia garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .588 (10-17) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week. Hitting .404 to date, Castro has 4 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 17 games. |
