Injury Takes Toll, Franklin Cox Out Thursday, May 9th, 2013 The Mdewanketon Sabercats will lose the services of starting pitcher Franklin Cox after he sustained a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Astoria Argonauts. "I'll get through it," Cox said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 11 months. For the year Cox has a 4-3 record with a 3.61 ERA in 8 starts. |
