Boston's Nathan Wilson Injured
Saturday, September 29th, 2012
The Boston Cardinals were dealt a severe blow when Nathan Wilson was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Los Angeles Evil Empire. After the game, the team trainer reported Wilson might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 29-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Wilson at least 7 months to heal.

This season Wilson has 1 save in 98 relief appearances with a 10-0 record and 2.30 ERA.
