Bombers Marín Suffers Setback Monday, September 17th, 2012 The South Carolina Bombers received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Juan Marín would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Marín, who is currently out with a herniated disc, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 33-year-old center fielder will have to spend another one week in treatment. Presently Marín is hitting .319 with 9 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has played in 55 games and scored 31 times. |
