Beimer and Anderson Suspended 4 Games For Brawl
Friday, July 13th, 2012
During a recent Maple-San Francisco game at Legends Park, Derek Beimer of the Marauders and Brad Anderson of the Earthquakes got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 4-game suspensions because of their actions.

Beimer is hitting .306 so far this season with 35 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 45 hits including 9 home runs, 10 walks and .362 OBP.

This season-to-date Anderson has 6 wins and 6 losses and a 4.51 ERA.
