Barrage of Hits Gets Everett TML Award Monday, June 25th, 2012 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Chance Everett, the Los Angeles left fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. Everett piled up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs while hitting .522. Looking at his stats this year, Everett has compiled a .308 batting average, while hitting 16 home runs and driving in 50 runs. He has played in 78 games and scored 59 runs. |
