Injury Takes Toll, Steve Brown Out Sunday, June 24th, 2012 Eureka Hornets right fielder Steve Brown suffered torn ankle ligaments during a recent game with the Las Vegas Jokers and will miss 4-5 months. Brown told BNN, "I hurt it making a defensive play. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." This year Brown is hitting at a .346 pace with 1 home run and 3 RBIs. He has played in 6 games and scored 5 times. |
