NOTTINGHAMSHIRE OL GAFFER Named Top RCL Manager Saturday, November 11th, 2017 Just about any objective fan of the Nottinghamshire would have to admit that OL GAFFER is worthy of the Roberto Clemente League Manager of the Year Award. But it wasn't that way at first. "In the beginning it was rocky," noted GAFFER, "The fans really gave it to me. Somewhere along the line we just began putting things together, picking up a win here and there, and morphing into a team--not just a bunch of guys doing their own thing." GAFFER paced the Outlaws to a first place finish in the Roberto Clemente League Tommy Lasorda Division. Nottinghamshire wound up the season with a 111-51 record. As for next year, OL GAFFER said, "We're always tweaking things, trying to improve the club. You don't rest after winning awards. I'm here to make the Outlaws a perennial powerhouse." However, after losing to an up and coming team from SoCAL I have decided to leave the league. Jordan Calhoun has made us an offer we can't revise to sell the club to him. Lifetime season seats to the VISTA ballgames in the BSA! OMG I'm so excited to see them kick Kevin's Seattle team in the ASS. |
