Bad News For Hayes and Oklahoma City Friday, October 6th, 2017 Ben Hayes was taking it slow and easy, nursing a strained oblique back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Oklahoma City team official, "Ben was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 36-year-old Prowlers closer would be out at least another one week. This year his season stats show Hayes has 15 saves in 60 relief appearances with a 4-11 mark and 4.10 ERA. |
