North Bats .335, Wins TML Batting Title

According to his manager, "Hard work and a good, quick swing were the keys to Oliver North winning the Thurman Munson League batting championship this season." It became official with the close of the regular season that the Kansas City center fielder had won the title with a .335 batting average. During the year North played in 134 games and accumulated 181 hits, including 19 doubles, 10 triples and 1 home run. The TML's leading batter also put up 44 RBIs and scored 118 runs.
