Bad News for Sasquatch, Tuttle Injured
Monday, August 28th, 2017
It took the Seattle team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Eugene Tuttle won't simply play through a torn flexor tendon in his elbow after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Crush-Sasquatch game. At first, it looked like Tuttle might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 10 months.
This year Tuttle has posted a record of 9 wins and 10 losses with a 5.17 ERA. He has appeared in 27 games and struck out 121 in 151.1 innings.
