Prowlers Steve Wagner Swings Hot Bat, RCL Winner Monday, August 28th, 2017 At the age of 26, Steve Wagner might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Oklahoma City second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .478 batting average. For his efforts Wagner collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Wagner has socked 119 hits in 400 at-bats for a .297 average with 21 home runs. He is getting on base at a .379 pace and his totals also include 74 RBIs and 80 runs scored. |
