San Francisco's Inman Out 4 Months Thursday, August 10th, 2017 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Dennis Inman of the Earthquakes knows this firsthand. He was injured against the South Carolina Bombers while throwing a pitch. Because of a ruptured finger tendon, the San Francisco reliever is expected to miss 4 months. Inman was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." To date, Inman has collected 4 saves in 49 relief appearances. He has rung up 69 strikeouts and 16 walks in 57 innings while registering a 1.26 ERA and a 3-1 won-lost record. |
