Swap: Sanders for Ortíz Monday, July 31st, 2017 The Montreal Bandits have released a statement confirming the trade of 43-year-old reliever Del Hubble, 25-year-old left fielder Justin Davis, 38-year-old first baseman George Sanders, 26-year-old minor league shortstop Zale Kountouroudas and 23-year-old minor league starting pitcher Jesús Feliciano to the San Diego Hops for 35-year-old first baseman Miguel Angel Ortíz and 28-year-old starting pitcher Elvis Sharp. The deal was finalized today. This season Sanders is batting .314 with 16 home runs. He has scored 56 runs and driven in 64. Currently Ortíz is batting .313 with 27 home runs and 78 RBIs. |
