Maple-San Francisco Deal: Clark for Young Monday, July 31st, 2017 Maple and San Francisco announced today in a joint press conference that 26-year-old second baseman Jesse Clark will be going to the Earthquakes in exchange for 23-year-old minor league reliever Ovidio Montaņio and 23-year-old minor league starting pitcher Rob Young. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. This year Clark has 3 home runs and a .266 batting average. |
