Bowman Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, July 29th, 2017 Fort Worth could care less about Will Bowman's hitting streak. All they care about is who won the game. The Panthers manager told BNN, "Not to belittle his streak, but at the end of the day, the important thing is winning the game, not stopping a hitting streak." Well, the Panthers didn't stop Will Bowman today, but they won the game 7-6 over the Mafia. The New York first baseman was 2-for-4 in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Will Bowman doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This season Bowman is hitting at a .349 pace with 12 home runs, 56 RBIs and has scored 77 times. |
