Mata's 25-Game Hit Streak Ends Friday, July 28th, 2017 José Carlos Mata's sizzling streak was snapped at 25 today as the Fort Worth Panthers dropped a game to the New York Mafia 15-3 at Panthers Park. Mata failed to get a hit and went 0-for-4. After the game Mata spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a streak. I just ran into some good pitching today." For the year Mata is batting .348 with 17 home runs. |
