RCL Trophy Goes to Bowman of New York Monday, July 24th, 2017 26-year-old Will Bowman sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Bowman made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .536 average, 15 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 runs batted in. Where the New York Mafia first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Bowman certainly made his mark last week. For the season, Bowman is hitting at a .343 clip with 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and has scored 70 runs. He has 137 hits, 31 walks and a .389 on-base percentage. |
