South Carolina, Nottinghamshire Confirm Deal Monday, July 17th, 2017 BNN has learned the South Carolina Bombers have reportedly worked out a deal with the Nottinghamshire Outlaws. Sources close to the Bombers indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 24-year-old first baseman Byron Bryant will be swapped to South Carolina with 23-year-old minor league reliever António González and 19-year-old minor league starting pitcher Hidekazu Takeuchi heading to Nottinghamshire. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. During the current season Bryant is batting at a .285 clip with 24 home runs and 89 RBIs. He has played in 92 games and scored 73 times. |
