6-Hit Game for Reynolds Sunday, July 16th, 2017 It was high-5 day at Panthers Park, at least for Blake Reynolds of the Seattle Sasquatch. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Fort Worth Panthers. Reynolds smashed 6 hits in 6 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 17-4 win. His manager said, "Blake was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine." Blake Reynolds singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season Reynolds is hitting .292 with 23 home runs, 80 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 101 hits in 346 at-bats and has played in 90 games. |
