Tim Shields Hurt, Out 6 Weeks Thursday, May 25th, 2017 Tim Shields of the Montreal Bandits was injured in today's game against San Diego and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a fractured finger and he is expected to be out for up to 6 weeks. It happened while Shields was being hit by a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." For the season Shields is batting .328 with 58 hits and no home runs. He has scored 20 times and batted in 25. |
