Miller and Everhart Suspended 7 Games For Brawl Friday, May 19th, 2017 Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Jacksonville's Michael Miller and The Georgia's Pat Everhart. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 7 games for their aggressive actions. "I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Grays said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead." In his season totals Miller has 5 home runs and a .244 batting average. Looking at his season stats, Everhart has won 3 and lost 1, collecting 41 strikeouts and 24 walks in 53 innings with a 3.23 ERA. |
