Jesters Lose Sánchez for 4-5 Months Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 After injuring himself, Jesters reliever Cisco Sánchez headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Sánchez will miss at least 4-5 months with a torn back muscle. To date in the season, Sánchez is 0-1 with 18 relief appearances and 1 save. He has held opposing batters to a .167 average, pitched 14 innings, struck out 4 and walked 4 while recording a 0.64 ERA. |
