Maple, Nottinghamshire Agree to Deal Monday, May 8th, 2017 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Maple has worked out terms of a deal to send 34-year-old starting pitcher Rich Bussell to Nottinghamshire for 25-year-old catcher Billy Bishop, 28-year-old second baseman Danny Burris and 24-year-old minor league left fielder Martin Petersen. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. To date this year, Bussell shows a 1-3 record, 7 starts, 45 innings, 34 strikeouts and a 3.60 ERA. Looking at his present stats, Burris has compiled a .288 batting average in 12 games with a .315 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 4 runs. |
