Ito Selected TML Player of the Week Monday, May 8th, 2017 22-year-old Osamu Ito sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Ito made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .448 average, 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs and 7 RBI. Where the Eureka Hornets left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Ito certainly made his mark last week. This season Ito has hit at a .313 clip and produced 19 RBI, 6 home runs and 19 runs. |
