San Diego's Kanno Stands out in Shutout Friday, April 7th, 2017 The Dallas Texans were almost helpless today in their 12-0 loss to San Diego hurler Kazuhiko Kanno. He kept them confused the entire ballgame and spun a 2-hit shutout. The Dallas manager said in the postgame interview, "Tip your hat to Kanno. He kept us off balance all night." Kanno said, "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play. It was just one of those games that things went my way." He had 1 walk and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. |
