Rodríguez Sticks it to RCL Pitchers Monday, May 7th, 2012 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Roberto Clemente League, but last week Lorenzo Rodríguez of the Ann Arbor Barn Owls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rodríguez rocked opposing pitching for a .400 average (10-25), 5 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. Rodríguez is currently batting .429 with 16 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
