Lester Takes TML #1 Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 It was a very good month for Ray Lester in April. The 36-year-old veteran starter for the San Francisco Earthquakes outpitched everybody -- young and old -- to claim the Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month award earlier today. Lester ran up a 5-0 record in his 5 starts during the month. In 36.2 innings he fanned 29 and recorded a 0.25 ERA. |
