Johnson Nabs RCL Weekly Award Monday, April 30th, 2012 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Edgar Johnson, the Seattle center fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. Johnson piled up 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs while hitting .414. So far this season Johnson is hitting .365 with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 23 hits in 63 at-bats and a .481 OBP. |
