Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Thursday, September 1st, 2016 John Brooks's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young So Cal second baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .263 with 4 doubles, 1 triple and 6 home runs. Brooks also scored 19 times and drove in 19 runs. In his 2016 season totals, Brooks has 13 home runs, .258 BA, .296 OBP, 42 RBIs and 46 runs scored. |
