Jokers Gould Tames Kansas City Monday, August 29th, 2016 Maurice Gould had the Kansas City Tornadoes dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 8-0 shutout performance for the Las Vegas Jokers. He gave up 5 hits, issued no walks and had 11 strikeouts. Kansas City hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. The opposing manager said, "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point. We just never figured him out." This season-to-date Gould has 14 wins and 5 losses and a 3.50 ERA. |
