Shine Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 Bobby Shine collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Maple Marauders, beat Kansas City 9-5. After the ballgame, Shine quipped to a BNN reporter, "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball. I'm pretty excited how things are clicking." Bobby Shine doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. In 87 games this season Shine has batted at a .303 pace with 94 hits and 1 home run. |
