Bryant 5-5 for Outlaws Thursday, July 7th, 2016 It was a parade of hits for Byron Bryant of the Nottinghamshire Outlaws... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the New York Mafia for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats and propelled the Outlaws to a 8-5 victory. "Bryant was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Mafia manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Byron Bryant hit a two-run home run off Fabrizio Palgani in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. This season Bryant has hit 17 home runs and posted a .341 batting average. |
