Yamamoto Voted June's Rookie Award Friday, July 1st, 2016 Katsuhiko Yamamoto's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Las Vegas left fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .325 with 7 doubles, 1 triple and 7 home runs. Yamamoto also scored 20 times and drove in 25 runs. This year Yamamoto is hitting .364 with 117 hits, 30 home runs, 85 RBIs and has scored 65 runs. |
