Boston's Escobar TML's Best Monday, June 20th, 2016 José Escobar demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. The Boston first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .348 average (8-23) with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This season Escobar is hitting .318 with 22 home runs. |
