RCL's #1 Player, Blanchard of Minnesota Monday, May 30th, 2016 One of the league's most exciting young players, Peter Blanchard of the Minnesota Berserkers earned himself Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old first baseman had a lofty .593 average (16-27), collecting 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Blanchard has delivered 78 hits in 197 at-bats for a .396 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .445 clip and his totals also include 41 RBIs and 36 runs scored.
