Veteran MR Dorsey Stays in South Carolina Friday, September 25th, 2015 Jim Dorsey inked a deal that will keep the seasoned veteran on the Bombers roster another 2 years. Earlier today team personnel announced that the 37-year-old had settled on a $5,400,000-a-year deal to play at Bomber Ballpark. It's no secret Dorsey is getting older, but he could still contribute a lot to the franchise. This season Dorsey has earned 5 saves, tossed 86.2 innings, made 77 relief appearances, fanned 102 hitters and posted an ERA of 3.22. Teams are hitting .257 against him. |
