Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Tuesday, September 1st, 2015 Youngster Alvin Baldwin emerged as the latest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Montreal deserved the honor, batting .375 with 2 home runs and 13 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Baldwin enjoy the limelight. Baldwin is hitting at a .331 mark this season. His stats show 6 home runs, 53 RBIs and 94 runs scored. He has played 115 games for the Bandits. |
