Rodríguez Wins Best Bat Award in August Tuesday, September 1st, 2015 Beach balls were coming in at Lorenzo Rodríguez in August and he banged, bashed and blasted them all over the park, putting up a .360 batting average and hauling in the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month trophy. The 27-year-old Ann Arbor right fielder collected 31 hits last month in 27 games. He put up 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Rodríguez also drew 16 walks and compiled a .467 on-base percentage. So far this year, Rodríguez is batting .330 with 22 home runs and 61 RBIs. |
